Complaints and feedback
The Prehn Institute welcomes feedback on its research and its instruction, and takes any complaint seriously. This page explains how to raise a concern and what happens once you do.
Raising a concern
How to raise a concern.
Write to [email protected]. Set out what the concern relates to, whether a particular paper, report, index or part of the instruction, and what you would like the Institute to do. If your concern is about a specific piece of published work, naming it helps the Institute look into it properly.
What happens
What happens next.
Every message is read by the Institute. You will receive an acknowledgement, and the Institute aims to give a full reply within 24 hours. Where a concern needs more time to look into, the Institute will tell you so and say when you can expect a full reply.
Escalation
If the reply does not settle the matter.
If the Institute’s first reply does not settle your concern, you may ask for it to be reviewed. The matter will then be looked at again by a senior member of the Institute, who was not involved in the first reply, and you will receive a further response.
Feedback
Feedback.
Not every message is a complaint. The Institute is glad to receive corrections, questions and suggestions on its published work, and reads them all. Where a reader points out an error in something the Institute has published, the Institute will correct it and, where it matters, note that a correction has been made.
